Lansky's Pizza, Pasta & Philly Steaks

An Omaha tradition since 1994, but new to Gretna in 2021. Husband likes the Philly but he dove into it before we could take a picture. I had the lasagna. I really like their meat sauce. It's smooth and tastes as if it's slow cooked by someone who knows what they are doing. I don't like sweet sauce or sauce that's too acid, so I like this one. Real ricotta and mozzarella complete this comfort food. The garlic bread was a toasted hoagie bun with garlic, nothing special. There is a small but adequate salad bar here. I like the pizza and calzones I've had on previous visits to a different location. You order at the counter and the staff bring it to the table. It was all teenage girls working when we were there. Not overly friendly or welcoming, but adequate. Wasn't very impressed with the cut off jean shorts, way too casual. Not sure if that's the uniform or if they decided to dress a like. Most of the tables needed to be bussed when we arrived and one of the tables had a lot of spaghetti underneath it. One of the staff started to clean by the time we were finished so maybe they had just gotten over a rush.

So there pizza was good. Nice crust not to thick and not too thin. There red sauce on it was amazing, definitely good spices in there. The 3 star was the size, there pizza is so small for a “regular” almost the size of my hand and my hands are small. And the Alfredo fettuccine, was bland and boring I had to put a lot of pepper in it. I would go back for the pizza but not the pasta

Hey there, we ordered the Steak Tossed [salad] and it was not we expected. The description reads “freshly grilled steak”. It’s not grilled steak. It’s pulled beef on lettuce. Google “steak salad”; steak salad is returned. 😂 It didn’t taste good so we didn’t eat it. I spoke to the fella who answered the phone. He said it was grilled steak. Simply observe, Google review readers, and you decide. Pizza was good though.
